Exciting New Puppets for our young puppeteers to practice with!


The focus for the term is Animals.

Looking into history and cultures to see different ways that Animals Puppets have been made. Looking at interesting places that Animals are found and creating funny stories and environments for our real and fantastical creations. Such places are circuses, zoo, oceans, forests, jungles and mythical lands. 


Puppet outcomes for the term


  • Getting students to sync their talking with the movement of the puppets mouth
  • Work on the illusion that it’s the puppet talking, breathing, sighing.
  • Creating unique characters using voices and craft materials
  • Having fun and being able to express creativity within a supportive environment
